These are plain but stylish at the same time. They would offset other settings very well. All are of substantial size. The bowls are going to be great for soup, cereal and salads. They also stack well saving cabinet space. I like this shade but they come in several shades. This dinner set is really nice. I like the constellation design and beige glaze. It comes with 8 bowl, 8 small plates and 8 large dinner plates. I got this 6 pack of dinner plates so that I could check out the colors, design and just get a feel for the quality, BEFORE I commit to purchasing the set. I am happy to report that they are gorgeous!! They have a nice weight, colors are vibrant and shiny. The swirled design really looks nice. My plan is to use these plates as part of a mix/match with another set, also from Vancassa - which is the Bohemian pattern! I plan to get a few salad plates & cereal bowls from the Bonita, as well.
