I love, love, love this dish set. The stoneware is high quality. The coating on them almost seems like porcelain but with the sturdy weight of stoneware. The ribbed texture and two toned design are my favorite thing. It makes the dishes look very modern and distinct. The high ridges on the plates are great for saucy foods and for stacking them in the cupboard. The mugs are also a great size. This is a set that I highly recommend! These are plain but stylish at the same time. They would offset other settings very well. All are of substantial size. The bowls are going to be great for soup, cereal and salads. They also stack well saving cabinet space. I like this shade but they come in several shades.
