We purchased 3 different medallions to look at them in person. decide on one return the rest. They were so gorgeous we couldn’t choose readily, but have a couple light fixtures we can use them with. So we kept them all. Love them. Only recommendation is check where the light fixture attaches to the electrical box. Some medallion style are not deep so may not cover up fixture side screws.. Dab. This is my second purchase for this specific medallion- it is small but works in compact spaces like closets and entryways. We actually got this to temporarily cover a gaping hole in our kitchen ceiling from an upstairs bathroom tub drain leak that has since been fixed. We liked the substantial size of it for our particular application, and it is very lightweight. We are in the process of painting it now. It arrived quickly, well packed, and in excellent condition. My husband drilled the holes in it without any issues. This is a beautiful piece!!!! It is made of some sort of lightweight plastic material, but looks like plaster. I used it on a major wall, surrounded in square by chair rail moulding. It has created an elegant and serene atmosphere for a small, lovely sitting room. Love the simplicity of the design. It is not ornate, and , it is certainly not boring!. Teri. Oneonta, NY.
