I love the desk and the quality it has. It ook me about 1.5 hours to put it together. Two things to know. The package is super heavy! Doorstep delivery only. The drawer tracks are preinstalled and were off on my desk leading them to look a little bit angled. If you are detail oriented or have OCD, this may bother you. Other than that it is super great quality and looks great. Natascha. VA. Thu Oct 29 2026

We really like the look of this desk and how it ended up once assembled. It is sturdy and durable. I would have given it 5 stars except it was really a challenge to assemble. It looks as though it should be pretty easy, but the instructions left a lot out. But once we finished, we were very happy with it.. Carol. Colorado Springs, CO. Thu May 14 2026

After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Came out box with scratch. I had seen reviews about the drawers not closing and such. The top drawer does have difficulty closing. It goes about halfway in and stops,I am not wanting to push it hard. Hopefully we can get it working.. Crystal. Princeton Wv. Fri Sep 11 2026

My husband chose this desk for his office. We ordered the walnut because he wanted a darker wood finish. It was easy to assemble, but it did take some time. The drawer operation is smooth. The colors are deep and it’s very attractive. Shipping was fast and easy.. Angelia. TX. Sun Aug 30 2026

This writing desk features a built-in power strip and ample storage with 4 fabric drawers and 2 shelves, keeping your workspace organized. Crafted from durable P2 particleboard, it boasts a scratch-, bump-, and water-resistant surface for long-lasting use in your home office.

Great desk for a 9 year old. The drawers are fabric, the top one doesn't go in all the way because of the bar in the back. The two sections are held together with 2 wood pegs and isn't very sturdy and leaves a small gap. Our fabric drawers came really dirty. It was easy to put together and works as a nice first desk.. Lindsay. Pottstown, PA. Fri Aug 14 2026

Negatives: time to assemble over 2 hours, thin MDF panels. Positives: very affordable desk, has room for a large monitor, a full desktop computer, plenty of accessories, and functional drawers. Other thoughts: I think the panels are thin, but they're holding 120 pounds with my setup and the desk feels solid enough. I recommend assembling it on the same floor where you will place it, if not in the same room. Definitely suggest having two people if you need to move it.. Kevin. Savage, MD. Mon Oct 12 2026

Desk 45 Assembly 35 This desk is really nice looking. Overall it’s sturdy and feels pretty solid. I can’t speak to the durability yet but I’m pleased with the purchase. I’d cautiously recommend this desk. Criticisms The drawers are cheap - there’s super thin backing to the bottoms. That was a bummer for a desk at this price point. I’d also have appreciated if the drawers were soft close, there’s not a great way to add bumpers to soften it yourself and they do clang a bit. The desk is darker than in photos (even my own since my room has warm lighting!) but a very nice walnut. Assembly was a lot but it wasn’t as extreme as I expected based on reviews. It took me about 6-7hrs alone with a drill. I’m not particularly handy. HOWEVER. Parts were MISLABELED. Specifically the drawer rails. Look CLOSELY at what direction they should be going in the diagram! There’s also a step where you have to drill through holes in the extension rail but you don’t want to screw the rail slide to the desk… you basically need to line the edge of the slide so it’s sort of round with the screw and then just power the screw through it so the slide can move again. Not clear, not helped with video tutorials. I can’t imagine putting this thing together without a drill. I ultimately skipped the keyboard pull out bc I wanted the leg room and don’t need a separate keyboard. I feel like the desk still looks great without it. This thing is HEAVY. I had to open it by the front door and carry the pieces individually to the room it’d be assembled in.. Rachael. Tue Oct 27 2026

The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale. I would not pay full price for this table based on the finish.. Krystal. Port Ewen, NY. Sun Jul 26 2026

So far so good with this desk. It took a bit longer to receive than the other items I ordered for the office, but still super fast. Ordered on a Thursday and received on a Monday! It was a bear for my husband to put together. It took him longer to put this together than it took him to put together all 4 of the other Items I ordered for the office. The manual only had diagrams and no written instructions so that didn't help. Plus 4 screws were missing and when we called the manufacturer they said they were out of stock and had to be ordered from overseas and would take up to 15 days! So thankfully Lowe's had the screws. The desk is solid and very sturdy and looks nice. I ordered the grey. I don't like the way the top two drawers slide out. They are a little hard to pull as they only have "wood" tracks. But the bottom drawer is on metal tracks and slides out easily. And I have to say all the drawers hold a lot more than you would think so I was surprised at that. It would have been nice if the top piece was all one piece instead of two, but not really a big deal. And the grain on both pieces match. I also like the fact that there is lots of room for my legs under the desk and since it is open I can access the wall outlet if I need to. Overall very happy with this desk so far. (only had it a few days). Mary Ann. Laconia, NH. Thu Nov 05 2026
