This area rug is exactly as described. It’s thick and soft under your feet. I was concerned about the color as some photos showed the accent as a white but another photo it looked almost a yellow. It’s the white I was hoping for. It unfolded and laid out really nicely. Few weights overnight on the edges and they too laid down. The rug appears to be great quality. It arrived quickly and unrolled easily. I did place something heavy to help completely unroll the corners. I just vacuum over it any time I vacuum my floors. A wool rug does require at least some minimal effort when you first get it. If you’re someone who doesn’t regularly vacuum maybe a wool rug in general just isn’t for you Basically, don’t listen to the reviews about people having to return it because it sheds too much.. Love this rug! It is super soft under foot and makes the bedroom very cosy. Be warned, however, it SHEDS....alot. I ordered it months ago and the shedding is slowly starting to lessen and if you are wearing wool socks when walking on it they pick up some serious amounts of rug fiber. The only reason I give a 4 rating instead of 5 is because the color on the web site was lighter and blue which is what I wanted. I have found Wayfair pictures had been pretty good representation of the actual color. This time I was disappointed. It's much darker and doesn't look blue. The packaging on the rug said Ivory/Blue.
