The chair is a smaller chair but not terribly small I'm 5 ft 4 and 120 lb so it fits me perfectly. It is very very firm and that's the way I like a chair! The color is a light beige color it's not quite dark enough to be brown but it does have a brownish hue. It's very well put together and good quality I just love it I've included some photos here and I tried hard to get the color and lighting just right for you. As you can see my cat loves it I think it's now her chair I'm going to order another one! It's very light but it's not cheap it's easily moved but it doesn't wobble when you sit on it I'm very pleased. If you're a big six foot Guy this is not the chair for you but if you're a little tiny lady like me no problem. It was in back order till June but arrived earlier than expected in April. It’s more of a grey blue hue in person but that’s alright. It still blends in with my charcoal gray furniture. It sits semi low as you can see from the window but it’s very sturdy, comfortable and fits a petite space nicely. Came already assembled with the exception of the foot rest which had screw on legs.
