This bed is very high-quality and is definitely different in assembly than any piece of furniture I have ever done. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. Beautiful Walnut bed frame. It looks really elegant and modern with a artsy touch. I loved it so much I bought a second one for my guest bedroom. The bed is very low but that’s something I was looking for. For the guest room I did add some bed elevation blocks only because I have items stored underneath. Very sturdy, and strong! it did take about an hour to build and it requires two people to hold some of the pieces up. It goes well with contrast deep green furniture or decor. Wayfair furniture can be hit or miss, but this is a nice headboard and frame. I chose the dark walnut color and there's no red or yellow tint to it. It's not rustic/raw wood -- there's a finish but it's not high gloss. The design feels well thought out and everything fits together well. Horizontal wood slats are held in place by strong Velcro, which makes it easy to position your mattress. The assembly diagrams made sense and with the help of two yoga blocks for leveling/stability, I didn't need a second person to assist with putting the piece together. (For reference, I definitely had a Wayfair assembler construct my six-drawer dresser -- best money ever spent -- but as a 69-year old woman, I felt comfortable doing this job on my own.). Sabrina. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill.
