It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. It was such a savings to put it together myself then to purchase one in a furniture store. I purchased the grey version which is a soft hazy color.. Melissa. Hubbardston, MA. Wed Jun 17 2026

The daybed with a pop-up trundle features clean lines, attractive angles, and plenty of classic styles. Crafted from kiln-dried wood, it comes in a sleek finish that blends rustic and traditional together for a standout look we love. The pop-up easily stores under the bed and wheels out and up when needed. It can also combine with the daybed, transforming this piece from two twin beds to a king. A series of slats eliminate the need for a box spring, so all you need to get are two mattresses (sold separately).

Anchor your main or guest bedroom in traditional style with this classic bed with a trundle. We love the prominent headboard with its inset panels and clean lines that add refined elegance. The frame is crafted from solid pine wood finished in a neutral hue, and sits on straight and slightly tapered legs that raise it almost 5” off the floor. The system of slats eliminates the need for a box spring – simply top with the standard, 5” mattress of your choice (sold separately). Best of all, the trundle is ideal for sliding out when you need an extra sleep space for overnight guests.

This spindle bed ships conveniently in one box and includes easy-to-read instructions, tools, and hardware for quick assembly—no box spring or bunkie board required.

Ok, giving this 4.5 stars for aesthetic and solid wood frame. HOWEVER, please be cautioned There were some dings and splintering that are fortunately hidden after assembly with one acception. The assembly itself self took 2.5 hrs with a couple sanity breaks. Each spindled piece has an item sticker that would be visible and thus needed removal. I ruined my nails and spent 10x as long removing stickers and the glue as I did putting the head and footboard together. After FINALLY getting this bed put together, I almost cried contemplating the labor intensive deconstruction that would be required to take it out of the room. This project is not for the faint of heart. It is, indeed, a project. I would not deduct stars as paying for assembly is an option. Also, an oversight on my part, but the bedframe will not house a mattress and box spring, only a mattress. My biggest frustration was the assembly, and second the blemishes on the frame. Of course I cannot handle breaking down to return for replacement pieces, but generally I would recommend if youre going for appearance.. Laurel. Ormond Beach, FL. Mon Aug 03 2026

Awash in a solid tone, this piece is designed to blend in with – or stand out against – your kid’s existing color scheme. This bed arrives in four separate packages. One of the boxes is over 80 lb and will require additional assistance to move for average homeowner. The side rails as well as footboard come fully assembled out of the box. The headboard requires the side legs to be attached but this process is very simple. The support rails for the bed are extremely flimsy and using this bed as a trundle will not allow you vertical support to stop the mattress from sagging in the middle over time. Dinged a star for that. The trundle portion comes in its own separate box of the four and requires complete assembly which is very straightforward. Two of the threaded nuts that come pre-installed were missing in the holes allowing me no way to attach screws so I had to get creative as this is something the average homeowner might struggle with. The cracked wood is my fault for not predrilling. As a bonus the side rails of the bed have the mattress supports glued prior to painting and I'm including photos of the lumps of glue which are not a big deal but nice to know that the rails are physically glued as well as screwed. The trundle face came with 2 dents but my kids will do way worse in time. I would recommend this bed as it can be used stand alone, with a trundle, with the rails lowered for easier access, and also used with an existing box spring and metal frame.. Justin. Loxahatchee.
