We wanted to get a full size bed for our teen, but we also considered the size of his bedroom. This platfom bed takes up little visual space, allowing almost one foot of under-the-bed storage in which we picked up containers for odds and ends. The wood quality is great; I read specifications on quite a few of the beds and found this one to have few to little added chemicals. I do love the bed. One suggestion: I tried to get the shipping date changed before I even placed the order. You cannot change it online. So I called and was told by an associate that it could be done. It was a difficult process and in the end, the bed was delivered on the original date! Worked with Wayfair and the supplier when two side rails of the same type were sent. The storage units roll freely, unattached to the bed itself and can go deep under the bed if pushed too far.
