This table is a great size for a smaller space. It’s very well made and sturdy. The casters on the bottom make it much easier to move if that’s necessary. It arrived in pristine condition, all needed parts were included and well packaged and it was easy to put together. The table feels very solid, it’s larger than most coffee tables I found and it matches my other furniture perfectly! It is a lighter oak so if you’re looking for the “warmer orangey color” this is on the lighter side but matched my end tables and fireplace perfectly! Beautiful Table, But They Have to Fix the Packaging I really wanted to give this coffee table a better review because it is genuinely stunning. Unfortunately, after receiving two damaged tables, I simply can’t. The first table arrived so badly damaged that there was no possible way to salvage it. Wayfair responded promptly and sent a replacement, which I really appreciated. When the second table arrived, I opened the box and was immediately relieved because I couldn’t see any obvious damage. Once I removed all of the packaging, I was even happier. This is a beautiful, substantial piece of furniture. It is heavy, sturdy, feels great to the touch, and looks even better in person. Then I opened one of the drawers. The black drawer front came completely off. Thankfully, the second table is nowhere near as damaged as the first, but after receiving two of these, it’s incredibly frustrating to have another one arrive with damage. I honestly think the problem may be the decision to ship such a large, heavy piece fully assembled. If the drawer fronts are particularly vulnerable during shipping, I would rather have the table arrive mostly assembled and attach the drawer fronts myself. At this point, I can’t even figure out how to securely reattach the one that came off. The frustrating part is that the actual table is beautiful. I love the design, the walnut and black combination, the hidden storage, and the overall quality and weight of the piece. I would happily recommend it based on appearance and design alone. But Wayfair andor the manufacturer really needs to figure out how to package and ship this table so customers can actually receive it intact. We recently had new floors installed and are slowly replacing all of our living room furniture. This is the first piece we purchased, and I assembled it by myself. The small screwdriver included with it eventually gave me blisters, so I switched to one we already owned. Attaching the top piece was a little tricky at first, but once I realized it was easier to lie on my back underneath the table to insert the screws, the rest was easy. It’s a solid table and looks great. I work from home so it’s been nice to extend the top of the table and use it as a desk while catching up on TV shows.
