This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. Update to original review. Wayfair took care of the issue immediately, and better than I expected. We now have a lateral file cabinet that has drawers that pull out easily, and no split wood on the front of the cabinet. No more struggling to get a drawer open. Thank you Wayfair! The top drawer is very difficult to pull out. The bottom drawers pulls out fine. I tried spraying silicone on the extension brackets on the side of the drawer, but it did not help. When I looked closer there is a small split in the wood that I am hoping their furniture doctor can fix. This piece of furniture for a $1000 was not worth the money considering the quality.. Debra.
