This really is solid wood, which I think is pretty unusual these days. All of the fastener holes were precisely milled so it was very easy to put together. It prob took my an hour and a half to put together two cabinets, attach them and get them in place. I don't understand why you need three screws for each hinge door and then three additional screws to attach to the side panel for EACH hinge. Two is the standard for a reason. 2) Don't understand why most of the screws are black, the door stoppers are brown, and the magnets and door screws are silver.
