[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a tall chair to complement my standing desk and I picked a backless stool to help encourage better posture and core strength. This stool has been perfect for that. The stool comes with leg extenders, without it, it's the height for a low breakfast counter. But adding the extenders bring it up to barstool height. Im 5'4 and I can just barely lean my butt on it with my feet still on the floor. If I want to sit, I have to use the foot rest to step up to the seat. The stool is very sturdy. The base is wider than the seat and it feels extremely stable. I don't watch my balance or feel like I need to be careful when I'm hopping up or when I'm adjusting myself. And the whole thing is much bigger than expected. The seat is extra wide, the legs and foot rest are also wide and sturdy. The seat itself is a very padded pleather. Love the way it looks!!! It came fully assembled and ready to use (but I applied some felt furniture stickers to prevent scratching my wood floors…another review led me to believe it came with them). Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 stars was the price. The wooden seat is very light compared to what you’d imagine and this definitely doesn’t seem worth double the prices of other stools. I got myself one bar stool and would like to replace our 5 counter stools at the kitchen island, but at $200 each, that seems ridiculous.
