I wanted a solid wood coffee table (absolutely no manufactured wood whatsoever) and this coffee table is indeed completely solid wood. Has a nice natural grain. Arrived in perfect condition and assembly was a breeze. The drawers are small in height but surprisingly quite deep. I took off one star though because I feel, for the price it’s at, the drawers could stand to be sturdier — they feel kind of flimsy, kind of cheap — and the wood could be thickerheavierof a bit higher quality. This is the perfect coffee table to match my new decor! I searched for months looking for one! It took around 4 hours to put together and you need two people for a couple things to actually finish it. My package arrived damaged, with pieces falling out and a few pieces were messed up, but since they were on the underneath side I decided to keep it since the box is SO heavy! The table feels very solid, it’s larger than most coffee tables I found and it matches my other furniture perfectly! It is a lighter oak so if you’re looking for the “warmer orangey color” this is on the lighter side but matched my end tables and fireplace perfectly! I used to own the same table with a cherry finish and was quite happy with it. Thats the only reason I ordered this table in a different color. However Im not sure if the manufacturer changed but the quality and workmanship has drastically declined. As you can see in my photograph the terrible workmanship in the top corner of the table which is a very noticeable location which surprises me that this table was even shipped to me in this condition.
