I wanted a solid wood coffee table (absolutely no manufactured wood whatsoever) and this coffee table is indeed completely solid wood. Has a nice natural grain. Arrived in perfect condition and assembly was a breeze. The drawers are small in height but surprisingly quite deep. I took off one star though because I feel, for the price it’s at, the drawers could stand to be sturdier — they feel kind of flimsy, kind of cheap — and the wood could be thickerheavierof a bit higher quality.
