Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. So pretty! The wood on this bed is solid with a nice grain. It's a beautiful neutral oak color as you can see compared to our reddish red oak floors. The rattan is real not plastic and backed by a wood panel (so your head isn't going to crack or break the weave). The side boards are one solid piece (vs two shorter pieces patched together which is much less stable) and the platform rails have velcro on the ends to keep it from shifting around the bed. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions.
