Came beautifully packaged! No dings. The color is slightly more orangey than I wanted but I’m okay with that. I love that there is no assembly, and the wood is fairly good quality for the price. Just two negatives - I wish I could remove the nubs (that join the units together) on the top unit, and the company sticker on the unit was a bear to get off - I don’t know why companies put them on the unit like that! A least make them easier to remove. Took me 25 minutes with goo be gone to scrape it off. I left the bottom one on that can’t be seen bc I don’t feel like scraping another one off!. Lisa. US. Gorgeous linen white color that matches our walls perfectly. Shipping took longer than expected. I ordered 2 of these and each has some slight imperfections from handling. Luckily, it's in hidden areas not visible. I wasn't expected these to be already built. Shelves are not easily adjustable because they come screwed in place. We use for our kids' books.. Eileen. TX. This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again.. This shelf is really nice. Very sturdy, easy to accessorize and looks great from all angles. Highly recommended for any decor. Easy to put together. It is heavy and we have young grandchildren, so we did secure it to the wall. While it does come with screws to secure it, they were to small safe we got better ones.. Judy. Thu Sep 17 2026

This mission spindle bookcase with bottom doors is proudly made in the United States with exceptional craftsmanship and remarkable quality. The design of this unit creates a simple, yet elegant look. This exceptionally durable bookcase features two bottom cabinets with one adjustable shelf inside and four adjustable shelves to place books or any home decor. Furthermore, this bookcase also features a hand-applied stain and plenty of storage space.

Pretty color but all arrived very dusty as if they'd been sitting out in a warehouse for a couple years (which they had, since Dec 2024). One had a faint scratch on a door, and the other door on that unit was installed a bit out of square, but we can deal with it as all three were in good shape otherwise. Overall the purchase is acceptable, especially given you can't find solid wood furniture anywhere anymore that doesn't cost at least twice as much as what we paid for these, which is saying something given we live in a metro area with a population of close to 9 million people. I guess the Wayfairs of the world have put the traditional furniture stores out of business.. Janey. Santa Fe, NM. Thu Jun 25 2026

Utilitarian yet aesthetic, these solid oak mission spindle bookcases are nostalgic for the arts and crafts movement. In the perfect fashion of distinctive functionality and undeniable durability, flush sides allow this piece to sit completely adjacent to another wall unit.

The book shelf arrived in a lot of packaging which I was happy about because there were no scratches or damage anywhere. It looks just like the picture and was exactly what I was looking for. The quality is excellent. Very sturdy. We will probably anchor it to the wall just to be on the safe side because it is in child’s room. But not really necessary. Alma. Vienna, VA. Sun Aug 09 2026

The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I have bought other bookcases that use pegs to set the shelves onto, but they are metal.. Jane. Warren, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026

This is a sturdy, well-built solid wood bookcase. It was delivered sooner than promised (yea!). Love that it was already assembled.. Lois. Austin, TX. Sun Oct 18 2026

Love it but it does need to air out due to scent of stain when it first arrives. Also wish it had black screws not gold.. Beth. Henderson, NV. Sun Oct 11 2026

This solid wood bookcase brings a clean, architectural look to your space while offering plenty of room for organization. It's crafted from solid oak, showcasing visible woodgrain for added depth and a touch of organic texture. Its low-profile silhouette makes it a versatile addition that fits neatly under windows or against shorter walls. The stackable design gives you the flexibility to expand your storage as your needs grow. Plus, adjustable shelves let you customize the layout for taller items.

I purchased the 3-shelf size, 36" H X 48" wide. It holds my entire cookbook collection and does double duty as a divider between the foyer and kitchen/dining area. Beautiful, heavy wood in the mission style. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the backing. I wish furniture manufacturers would stop to consider that not every piece of furniture is going to be put against a wall, so it would be nice to have a decent backing. The back of this bookcase is some sort of shiny, vinyl covered panel and the color is awful. Maybe it was meant to be faux marble, but they missed by a mile. It simply looks like someone threw dirt on it then watered it!. Gloria. Exton, PA. Sat Apr 18 2026

This is so pretty. I bought the white. My husband assembled rather quickly. He asked where I want the shelves because once you push the pegs in, they're hard to get out to readjust. Definitely a solid piece that I'm not afraid to fill with books.. Michele. Myrtle Beach Sc. Mon Jul 27 2026

A fully finished back panel adds versatile placement options, letting you position it against a wall or use it to divide your space. It also arrives ready to use right out of the box to save you time.

The color and style are perfect in our bedroom, however the first try arrived damaged and trying to re-box it in the original cut-apart, damaged box was not fun. The replacement arrived about a month after the initial, damaged shelf and is in good shape. This is the second time we have ordered a wood product that arrived damaged. I like the final result this time though. Last time the replacement console table was worse than the first one!. Ruth. Franklin, TN. Sat Sep 19 2026
