After searching several high end stores for end tables and not finding what we wanted, we found these. They were the simple style we wanted, perfect dimensions and the stain color was also what we wanted. They arrived on time and were easy to assemble, with one exception. There were no pre drilled holes in the legs where the bottom shelf attached to the legs with four screws. We struggled with the first table, barely getting the screws in without stripping them. This is a really solid end table. I like it a lot. However, the parts were missing the Allen wrench needed to put it together. So, I had to use my husband's set. I'm glad he had that! Once put together, the table is not level and rocks a bit, but I'm going to try taking it apart and putting it together again to see if it was user error. Just finished assembling both of them and they look great! Not sure why they are called "narrow" when they are square! Easy directions, even for a 60+ year old woman. My only disappointment is the artificial textured "grain" that is on the topside and legs, but the underside was left smooth and I like that look a lot better.
