This dresser is really nice. It took four hours to put together with one person doing it. The fact that it has so many drawers was the reason for taking longer. Very disappointing - short version is style over substance. This dresser is very difficult to use. The tracks for the drawers are cheap and don't work well, so the drawers are frequently getting stuck. Not what you need when you're changing the onesie at 2am after a blowout diaper. It took two people 6 hours to assemble, and the directions were very confusing, but we did it painstakingly. Don't think it's user error, just cheaply made. Really unfortunate as we need something sturdy and forgiving for our nursery. Our little one isn't opening drawers now, but the goal was to take off the changing top as he got older and continue using. But little hands will NOT be able to manage being delicate enough with this given how finnicky it is. It was easy to assemble the process took about an hour using my own tools. It is sturdy, no wobbles, and would properly support a baby during a diaper change. Although this dresser has great intentions, the quality control totally misses the mark. Assembly was straightforward and took about 2 hours to complete with one person. Many of the pieces had flaws in the finish (such as thumb marks in wet paint and unpainted areas). There were missing parts, so that the base could not be completed (had to have the unit sit on the ground without its base - still functional, just makes it shorter than intended).. Scott. I have it mounted to the wall but it’s super sturdy and wide based if you didn’t. This is a great neutral wood finish that would be perfect for either gender. Plenty of space for storage on the shelves and as the baby transitions to toddler years you have the option to remove the changer on top and just have the shelving to this piece really does it all for a great price point.
