I wanted something that provides some privacy (street-facing window) but is still sheer enough to let in plenty of natural light. This does the trick. Dimensions are accurate as advertised. It fit our window perfectly. Be aware, because it is sheer, that if you have your room lit up at night, people will still be able to see in a little bit (outlines and such). As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. It can be machine washed, using mild detergent, and cannot be bleached. It can be turned over for drying or ironed.

These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert.
