It is very nice however hardwiring is not an option for me. The small light that is powered by the solar battery does not put off very much light. It is very dim compared to other solar lights I have on my property. Since I was installing mine on a wood rail I had to find 4 screws that were long enough to fit the base. These solar lights are absolutely gorgeous! We placed them by the pool, and they add such a beautiful ambiance in the evenings. I’m reviewing this prematurely. Haven’t even see the solar lights on at night yet, but these fit perfectly on our existing fiberon symetry decking railings.
