Nice fountain. It was easy to assemble and the solar panel has a long cord so you can, if you want, set it up quite a distance from the fountain. The one drawback I see is you have to select solar or battery. If you select solar and a cloud passes by the fountain stops. Well after reading other reviews I don’t agree that you can’t hear the water. I do think after getting it that it’s overpriced by 50.00. It’s made in China not the US. This birdbath was very pretty but it arrived with manufacturer damage. The pipe for the top of the fountain was completely off center and couldn't be attached to the bottom pedestal. My encounter with customer service was painless. I was able to send photos of the damage and because of the size of the package the shipping carrier picked it up at my house. Cute fountain, a bit shorter than I realized. Had some blemishes in the glazing where it looks like someone applied a different material to fix it? The instructions didn’t include a great diagram of the part labeled “leak protector” so I had to find an online instruction manual for a similar fountain from the same company, which used the same part. The pump was a bit unwieldy to position. So far it’s a pleasant sound of water, no drips. Not sure if any birds will use it, I was hoping the sphere on top would attract hummingbirds to bathe. My fountain was easily assembled however the problem I discovered was that in order to use the light, I needed two outlets and I already was using one for my patio lights. So I plugged the light to the fountain into the automatic timer and it comes on now when my outside lights do. It works perfectly and l’m pleased. The sound was very important to me because I’ve had fountains before that made a hollow sound and not very relaxing, this one is soothing as it cascades over the rippled edges and doesn’t splash outside the fountain.. Set up a little while ago layers snap but don’t seem very tight. Its much louder streaming than I thought, tried adjusting pump but haven’t gotten it to sound smoother trickling. The top bubbler is very wobbly. All in all the fountain looks nice just need to tweak the pump I guess. Not very easy to adjust the pump sine it’s enclosed.
