This is really an attractive lamp. We mounted it near a door on the sunniest side of our house. There is a choice of dimmer or brighter setting on the lamp, I suppose to modulate how long the battery charge will last. For us, this is excellent in the summer because of more sun and longer days. I'm finding that I'm less satisfied with it as a solution during the winter, not because of the lamp itself, but because our winter days are often excessively overcast and it gets dark early. This is an update to my prior 1-star review. I have changed my review to 5-stars. After receiving the 1st shipment broken, I contacted Wayfair and was promptly sent a replacement, no questions asked. The 2nd shipment came as equally well-packed, but this time the item was not damaged. I'm pleased with how Wayfair promptly handled this issue and very happy with the replacement pagoda. It's part of my Asian-themed landscape art. I was disappointed this item came broken, thus the 1 star. While the item was very well packed with plenty of bubble wrap and package air-pillows by the sender, FedEx mishandled it, as evidenced by the damaged box, and the pagoda top was shattered and in multiple pieces. I didn't even bother to finish unwrapping it. Andrea from Wayfair promptly and pleasantly handled my request for a return.
