I thought I was buying what appears on the advertisement; however, what I received was not like that. I fully charged the solar lights for about a week. (Please note that we have had full sunlight.) These solar lights are pretty cool! Not able to install outside yet so I tried them on the bathroom floor. I have to say that on the floor it is a much smaller imprint than on a wall. So they definitely will have a much greater impact installing them on the side of a fence/wall than using on steps. Update: It has only been a few days since my initial review and 2 out of the 4 do not hardly illuminate and because of that, I cannot recommend. Waiting for replacements to be sent, thank you for replacing them, hoping the new ones function better. These solar wall lights are really nice, the design is beautiful. I just set them up in the late evening so please know that the sun has not even had the opportunity to charge them to their capacities! Love these. They are small and made of plastic. They come with hanging hardware, however we chose to use a two sided tape to put them up. We need to make sure that the location we placed them in will get enough sun to charge. We also feel that we can spread them a little further apart and still get the same effect.
