Wow, this is a beautiful lantern. Arrived very securely packaged. I found the same item on another (much more expensive) website before I found the exact same thing here at a substantially better price (kicking myself over that one). This lantern is just beautiful in both day and night environments, but especially at night, when the colors reflect on the surface the lantern is sitting on. The solar bulb is bright, allowing for the beautiful reflective design. The thickness of the glass is substantial -- it doesn't feel like it will break easily. This ball is gorgeous! I had to leave my last gazing ball behind on a state to state move. The color is magnificent, it is a nice big ball, so you can see it's beautiful azure blue peeking through the greenery in the back yard.
