Its a bit smaller than I expected, but I still love it. I had to replace a previously bought bird bath that I purchased from Wayfair several years ago that finally weathered out. Nice, resin dish! It is, looks and feels like plastic, if you are wondering about that. The color is accurate in the description. It is a large saucer. Standard saucer mounts from my research are 4.5 inches. This works on 4.25 and has notches like threads to hold it in place.
