This light is beautiful and we love it, however, the hardware doesn't make any sense. There is a hollow screw that the light must be strung through in order to connect to the ceiling wires. There is no backup 'hard wire' to keep this from unscrewing itself and falling. I have very poor lighting in my house and was thinking of installing recessed lighting, but then I found this, which is a much less expensive option. The lighting simulated the patterns of the sky, including sunrise and cloudy days. The remote is easy to use . Installation requires watching a you tube video, but that made it much easier . This post lamp was very well packed. It arrived in perfect condition. As advertised, it was easy to install, and the light provides a very nice glow. It can be set up with a part that meets dark sky standards, which our community requires. The design syncs well with modern mission transitional style. I made the mistake of ordering two because the site froze up before I submitted, so I thought I needed to resubmit. Turns out that the initial order did go through, and now all that is left to do is to return the second one that was ordered in error. Be prepared to wait awhile to resolve Wayfair returns.
