This is a very substantial coverlet. It’s gorgeous but it is definitely a mild raspberry color. It’s fine with my bedding but if you want a more sand/cream this won’t do. Inspired by pure thickness. Maybe we've lost our minds here at coma inducer or maybe we've always had a couple of screws loose??? But we've become obsessed with thick. Seriously though, who likes a weak comforter? Does anyone enjoy getting a comforter vacuum smushed in a box that looks like a flat sheet and comes with instructions to shake it out and wait 4 days? And, after those 4 days are up, it's still so thin you wonder if you were sent a flat sheet. The thought of such a comforter makes us sick! Sure, it's harder to create, produce, and ship such impossibly huge comforters that are "thicker than thick"... But isn't that the whole point? With the number of hours, we sleep (or should sleep) each night, it should be a crime to have a flat sheet-like comforter. Our thicker-than-thick coma inducer consists of 800 gsm of thick, pure goodness. Overly thick filling combined with cozy soft plush creates a deep sleep experience like no other. It was more than expected (with a couple small issues). The dark green color is bold and looks exactly like the color presented online. The velvet side is soft, smooth to the touch and very comfortable. The other side is soft as well. However, I sleep with the velvet side showing on the bed, because it just looks nicer than the reverse side. Two minor cons is that it is a little on the smaller side. I ordered a king for my king size bed and it fits, but I like my comforters to hang much lower thank this one. This could use more material by a few square inches. I measured it against my old king size comforter and this one is smaller than my previous comforter by about 4 inches. The other con is that it looks fluffier and thicker in the picture than what it actually is - it's thinner than the picture. Beautiful pink. Soft and delicate... most of the time vintage pink is a little too much and almost not pink.. I did not put them on my bed yet because I am moving in a week and am saving them for my new bedroom at my new house. But, they are well made. Happy with my purchase.. I am going to get the matching sheets next.. oh and one of the silk blankets as well. Shipping was delayed about 1 week but I was patient because you cannot rush quality and shouldnt even try.
