I sprayed it with upholstery protector when it was brand new and it did well. No change in color or texture. Delivery was smooth and easy. I really appreciated having it set up for us, even though it's a pretty simple assembly. I paid over $900, which I think might be a little overpriced for the quality. Love this sofa. It shipped in 2 boxes and not the listed 3 boxes. It was missing directions but was easy to assemble with an internet search. The rounded arms make it look more chic and less cheap than the other 600 I could find.
