Update after one year the reclining mechanism broke on one side so it cannot be reclined. The thin underside fabric that holds the stuffing in place has ripped on the other side. There’s not a proper way to reattach the fabric to hold the stuffing. I’ll be surprised if it lasts another year. A really great reclining sofa. The micro suede fabric is comfortable and looks nice. As a heads up for some people using micro suede for the first time, you should not use spray on deodorizer. Make sure you look up ways to clean a micro suede sofa. As other people have mentioned, the armrests are a little bit low, but not terrible. I think they’re a great position for when leaning off to the side, a little bit or even laying down across the sofa. The reclining handle is responsive and not hard to pull. The actual reclining feature is wonderful. There’s just enough resistance in the leg lift so that you don’t have to push too hard to make it go down or lift your legs up to make it go up. The center seat is also very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this sofa on day one In my photo, I have added a white and a purple PlayStation five controller for color reference. There is a slight green tint to the sofa when viewed with LED lightbulbs. But in natural sunlight, it does have a true grayish color. Very simple to put together. Getting the covers on the cushions was a little tricky but after doing two I figured it out quickly.To get rid of the wrinkles others have mentioned,as you are zipping the covers reach inside and adjust the cushion.Try to make sure all corners are filled. Also I bought some strips of velcro to make sure the cushions stay in place. Oh make sure you have a person help with getting the back put in. It makes it a little easier. OH MY this couch is PERFECT for me. I bought it in the EARTH color and it's really a great sand color (without being too brown or gold). It's not at all gray if it looks that way in the photos. The photo from straight forward in front of it is most accurate for color. You can see that it goes with my rug 100%! (rug is from Amzn only $99! by the way). YES, it's VERY VERY firm and I love that. I'm femal and 60 with a not so young lower back (kind of cranky) and since the parts were pretty light I could put it together all by myself! (and I never do anything by myself). Don't let that fool you. Inside is a very well cut and sturdy/thick HARD WOOD (no cardboard or metal bars) so that was reassuring. I'm so happy with it I can't stop happy dancing. The instructions were simple to follow. Only once did I have to bang bang a part with a hammer to get things to line up but even doing that took seconds and BAM - everything there fell right into place. This is WORTH the money. It's a sturdy couch and any smaller person or small family or person with a smaller space can enjoy. MEASURE your space/so you don't buy this and find that it's too small. I'm a real chicken with buying anything like this online. What if it's the wrong color? What if it arrives damaged? What if I can't put it together? ------- Throw all those worries away and look forward to enjoying this couch, I know I will! I can't speak for the other colors, but I'd say this is a true sand or warm mushroom color for sure. I was going to order the brown, but the reviews said and showed it to be a light gold, and I definitely didn't want that. If I had the space, I'd order another one and place them together in an "L" shape...but that's only happening in a larger apartment. The main problem is when ordering this couch which is pretty big, no where does Wayfair offer white glove delivery, nor does it specify that the item will not be delivered to an apartment in a building. When contacted the customer service gave me number of FedEx customer service and to deal with it with them. FedEx customer service is like a wormhole where one keeps going in circles.. basically this was a huge nightmare. The couch itself came well packed except for a small tear on one side which lucky is hidden when assembled. Assembly was easy with two people.
