This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. Update after one year the reclining mechanism broke on one side so it cannot be reclined. The thin underside fabric that holds the stuffing in place has ripped on the other side. There’s not a proper way to reattach the fabric to hold the stuffing. I’ll be surprised if it lasts another year. A really great reclining sofa. The micro suede fabric is comfortable and looks nice. As a heads up for some people using micro suede for the first time, you should not use spray on deodorizer. Make sure you look up ways to clean a micro suede sofa. As other people have mentioned, the armrests are a little bit low, but not terrible. I think they’re a great position for when leaning off to the side, a little bit or even laying down across the sofa. The reclining handle is responsive and not hard to pull. The actual reclining feature is wonderful. There’s just enough resistance in the leg lift so that you don’t have to push too hard to make it go down or lift your legs up to make it go up. The center seat is also very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this sofa on day one In my photo, I have added a white and a purple PlayStation five controller for color reference. There is a slight green tint to the sofa when viewed with LED lightbulbs. But in natural sunlight, it does have a true grayish color. Very simple to put together. Getting the covers on the cushions was a little tricky but after doing two I figured it out quickly.To get rid of the wrinkles others have mentioned,as you are zipping the covers reach inside and adjust the cushion.Try to make sure all corners are filled. Also I bought some strips of velcro to make sure the cushions stay in place. Oh make sure you have a person help with getting the back put in. It makes it a little easier. I purchased this couch and it arrived with missing pieces. I’ve been contacting them and they said they would send the missing pieces. I reiterated multiple times the pieces that I was missing and they reassured me also multiple times that they would send the right pieces.Waited a long time for the pieces to come instead we received a box that was identical to the previous box with still the same missing pieces I was expecting them to either re-ship the parts but all they did was say they could refund me and I had to ship it back. I could no longer put all these cushions back in a box because they had expanded.My Roommate and then re-ordered the same couch and they shipped the same two boxes with the same missing parts but this time with different instructions to a different couch and I now have to dispose of all of these pieces because I cannot build this couch without the missing parts.
