This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. This sofa may have been the best purchase of 2026! Our daughter needed a sofafuton for her dorm room and this fit absolutely perfectly under her lofted bed! It came rolled up and compressed in a box which was perfect for transport. It was about 40lbs so on the heavier side. The outside of the box was misleading. There was a drawing of what like looked like a beanbag chair, which had us all worried. Upon arriving at the dorm, we opened the packaging and the sofa expanded. It was “installed” in 5 minutes. No weird off-gassing smells either. Note it takes 72 hours for the sofa to be ready for use. It’s been two weeks and my daughter still reports that the sofa is extremely comfortable and is getting much use. She already has a list of friends ready to come visit! Pros For the price it’s a good value. Great for a petite space. Nice soft fabric in a universal cream color. Cons The chaise isn’t that long. The piping on the back cushions is wavy. Not terrible to put together but doesn’t stay together when you try to move it. Very “modular”. Cushions are stiff without much give but will hopefully soften. I like it, don’t love it. The slip cover is my favorite - it’s a thick linen and soft and really exceeded expectations there. It was really easy to put together. It’s not super, super comfortable like it’s pretty firm and the base has springs in it so it’s kind of hard and bouncy almost. The pillows are fine - way too big for the pillow covers that come with it but they technically fit. Id consider replacing the inserts. Overall, it’s fine. Love the Quaility and modular construction. Very easy to put together. Day 2 of delivery and still see a little sign of compression on back cushions but expect that to decompress with time. The microfiber material seen very good in Quaility. My only minor issue was a few springs on the pull out had fallen out and need to be reinstalled but nothing after that. I would recommend it.
