Very simple to put together. Getting the covers on the cushions was a little tricky but after doing two I figured it out quickly.To get rid of the wrinkles others have mentioned,as you are zipping the covers reach inside and adjust the cushion.Try to make sure all corners are filled. Also I bought some strips of velcro to make sure the cushions stay in place. Oh make sure you have a person help with getting the back put in. It makes it a little easier. I ordered this faux leather chair for my husband’s office, and it is just perfect for the space! It has a slightly more modern, modular shape, which adds a nice contrast in his more traditional office. Assembly was pretty easy and only required the included Allen wrench. Everything arrived in one box, and the cushions were vacuum sealed but fluffed up fairly quickly once opened. The faux leather arrived in perfect condition with no scratches or scuff marks. I even did a little scratch test with my fingernail in an inconspicuous spot to see how durable the material seemed, and it didn’t leave any noticeable marks. That made me feel like the material will hold up better than some other faux leathers I’ve seen. One thing to note is that this is a very deep chair. I’m 5’5”, and when I sit all the way back, my feet don’t touch the floor. For someone taller, that may not be an issue at all. My husband finds it very comfortable, and I do too. Assembly was pretty straight forward, except putting on the back — there wasn’t a clear image of which direction it went, so make sure you look at where the Velcro goes and that the flap is supposed to cover the very back of the sofa.
