The quality of this bed is very sturdy but man…the build was intense. It look my husband and I 12 hours to get this thing built, although we did have to take off the ceiling fan and install a flush light during this time. It arrived in three large boxes and the instructions were a little confusing. Overall my son is obsessed with it and will hopefully enjoy it for many years. This was a big pain to install! Took about 7-8 hours with about 3 of us (we had 2 kids help us so we count them as half each because they were in and out with their "help" lol). Between making sure the bars didnt turn on you and only tightening at 70% but at the end having to find all 100 of the screws to tightening them.... it was a lot. Also I know the sides come with a warning, but please please remember the low ceilings when you have the bed frame up. Adults hits their heads 3 times each before we got the memo. Ouch! However, when all was said and done, my daughter was very happy. The bed edge makes me nervous for sleep purposes, but going to look into possibly a thinner mattress. Maybe even a bed rail of sorts. The bottom loft is very roomy. Has a lot of table space and even the drawers have a lot of room to them. I didn't realize they were cloth drawers, but they are nice and fit a lot. Super cute addition to my girls’ room. They absolutely love it. It’s a great height, even for underneath. We plan to put a small table so they can have tea parties. Only reason for the 4 stars is because while the assembly took time (we knew it would - I mean it’s a huge bed) the instructions, at parts, were hard to understand or they didn’t show the picture appropriately. Once put together, the bed frame is great and exactly what we wanted. The loss of a star has to do with shipment (the bed came in 2 boxes and they arrived 3 days apart) and difficulty to assemble. The bed looks great and feels sturdy once fully assembled. I love the extra storage space and how it maximizes room layout. However, my order was missing some parts, which was frustrating. Wayfair’s customer service was helpful, and they offered me a partial refund, but I still had to take the time to find and replace the parts myself. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, but I recommend checking for all parts upon arrival. If everything had been included from the start, this would have been a perfect 5-star experience.
