Good organizer for our reptile terrariums, making your room looks cleaner and tidier. The low-profile reptile zoo natural terrarium's advanced reptile habitat is ideal for ground-dwelling reptiles and amphibians. Desert reptile species will really benefit from the vertically low design, as the ultraviolet and heat bulbs are located closer to the animal compared to higher models. This habitat is specially designed for desert setups since most desert species are ground dwellers and do not move vertically. Although very similar in shape and size to aquarium-type tanks, this model has all the great features of our bestselling repair zoo terrariums.

Glass terrariums are the preferred choice of professional Herpetologists. They offer the best viewing for your animal; they are suitable for damp and humid conditions, are hygienic and easy to clean.Glass also maintains the correct heat gradient more safely and easily-maintaining the correct heat gradient is critical to a reptile’s and amphibian’s well-being as they use external heat sources in their environment to regulate their body temperatures. In the wild these animals move around within their habitat (from sunlight to shade, or from above ground to burrows, for example) to regulate their body temperature. If they get too cool, their metabolism slows (and in conditions that are too hot or too cold, they enter states of inactivity or hibernation).Maintaining the appropriate temperature is vital to bodily functions such as digestion. It is important to provide the proper temperature conditions in order for the animal to grow and thrive. For many reptiles, it is not simply a matter of providing a constant temperature, however. They require a thermal gradient or a range of temperatures from a high end to a low end. Thus, the animal can move to a higher temperature or lower temperature to suit its needs at any given time.

Reptology presents the Vine Backdrop Lizard Lounger. Our Lizard Loungers provide a safe, fun, and interactive space for your reptile to climb around on! In addition to decorating your terrarium, these handwoven, 100% natural seagrass backdrops allow your pet to self-regulate their temperature by moving closer or further from a basking light. They’ll know how high to climb! Lizard Loungers are great for arboreal and terrestrial species, including Bearded Dragons, Anoles, Geckos, Iguanas, Hermit Crabs, and other reptiles! Versatile and Adjustable Mounting: The provided 2.5” suction cups easily attach to glass, plastic, and acrylic terrarium walls. For a strong bond, please clean and wash suction cups with water before placing inside the habitat. Our Lizard Loungers can be placed at any height and location, providing an elevated vantage spot for your pet. Its versatility allows you to position it many ways until your little one is happy! Keeping Things Clean: For optimal use and longevity, our Lizard Loungers should be spot cleaned on occasion. This prevents debris and dirt buildup on the natural seagrass fiber. Use a vinegar and water mixture on the lounger, spot clean where necessary, then immediately dry completely before letting your pet climb back on. A hairdryer works extremely well for this last step. By doing this, your Lizard Lounger should live a lifetime, or two! Because of its longevity and durability, it can be used over and over in several terrariums! Gentle on Reptile Skin: Although our Lizard Loungers look rough and rugged, the seagrass fiber is soft enough for sensitive skin. When it’s time to shed, reptiles will rub against this natural fiber in order to remove old skin. Measurements: Overall = 23.5” (W) x 14” (H) / Thickness = 0.5”. Since our Lizard Loungers are made from natural materials and are handwoven, please understand that the provided measurements might not be exact, but they still should be within a 0.25” difference. Create a Multi-Level Jungle Gym: We offer Lizard Loungers in several shapes and styles: Small Corner Triangle, Large Corner Triangle w/ Ladder, Extra Large, Sun Lover Basking Platform, Vine Backdrop, and Extra-Extra Large Bridge. Build a woven playground by purchasing multiple loungers! Use the leftover leather strips to connect them together!

If your pet reptile or amphibian loves to climb, this piece will be their next mountain to conquer, as they rest peacefully on the top basking platform, regulating their body temperature as they see fit. Natural Hiding Spots: With 5 entrance and exit holes, the Reptology Shale Scape Step Ledge & Cave Hideout offers several ways to climb, slither, and swim around! In addition to reptiles and amphibians, this piece provides a great swim through or hiding spot for axolotls, fish, and crustaceans, such as crayfish and shrimp. The resin has a sturdy base: you don’t need to worry about it floating around once you place it underwater. There may be rough or sharp surfaces on this product. Those assist reptiles with removing excess skin during their molting process. If you feel it is too sharp, you can easily smooth the area with a bit of sandpaper or a file.

Overall great buy. Directions are not translated to English well, but can be parsed with a little patience. Once you figured out the first enclosure, it was largely smooth sailing. I liked the included glass handling gloves and extra keys. My only negatives are that it’s slightly wobbly and that a heating pad can’t be used in the bottom tank (since it’s so close to the floor). All in all, great product. I would also NOT recommend anyone use this for juvenile snakes of any kind, or snakes less than 2 feet long. However, it’s GREAT for my adult corn snakes.. Mackenzie W .
