The product itself is great, it's as pictured. It was a little hard for me to install because my windows are kind of hard for me to reach. You will need a squeegee to install it and a spray bottle with soapy water. It would have been helpful to have a box cutter and a large ruler as well. My edges turned out a little sloppy because of my poor cutting with scissors. Overall they serve their purpose of distracting from the ugly view out of my window. So far so good! This is an affordable temporary solution to my mirrored closet situation. I didn’t want my bed facing mirrors for feng shui reasons and I plan to swap out the mirror doors later once I’m more settled in. On the meantime this is a great way to displace the mirror surface without losing the light. I will be buying more to finish the effect. It was pretty easy to put up - I didn’t do it perfectly but I think it will improve once I find my wallpapering tool. Wayfair tint review Omg, okay, if I can do this, almost ANYONE can do this! This was window tint stuff was necessary because I live by the beach with south-facing sliding doors that had no blinds when I moved in a few months ago. I ordered it in May 2026. It’s mid-April now and the sun is getting hotter with every passing day. So, I decided today that I need to just bite the bullet and try to do this myself. I hadn’t done it yet because I wasn’t sure what to expect based on the reviews… [Btw, I’m 46 F, single, my dad just passed away (he was great did all the handyman stuff whenever I needed anything) and I do have a brother but he lives 1.5 hours away.] Well, I used a baby shampoo from the Dollar Tree Store to clean the sliders a few days ago. Oh, and I used that brown paper that comes as “filling” in delivery boxes instead of paper towels to clean. Anyway, it only took about 4-5 minutes to cover the first slider door I did! I still can’t believe it! It took about 45 minutes to do the stationary window slider, however. The roll was too wide to fit right up against the window pane so I had to figure out how to cut the roll down to size. I seriously wish i had a little saw because that would have made it soooo much faster easier. Once the roll was narrow enough to put up against the window, it only took about another 5 minutes until it was finished! (I accidentally trimmed off some of the weather stripping, though, so be careful.) And now I’m leaving this review while I’m ordering another roll for my other south facing windows!. Kristen.
