Assembly was a breeze until you get to the glider brackets. Unfortunately the photos were not very helpful. Once you get past the difficult moments, the finished product is well worth the time. All and all I am pleased with the purchase, your patience will pay off! It's the perfect height and size. I did switch out the stool that came with it to give it a classier look, for a better aesthetic. Because it's made of particle board, there were some chips present. Fortunately for me they were hidden. The reduction of 1 star is specifically for the challenging assembly and pre-existing chips. Other than that, it was a great purchase and a reasonable price. Originally came with broken pieces in the shipment. The company resent the defective pieces at no charge. The padded seat was worse the second time, but I’ll just reupholster it myself instead of requesting a 3rd one. It would be best if the company would figure out a new way to ship the seat so that it doesn’t get pinchedmishapen. The tiny screws were a bear to screw into the wood. We’ve had this vanity for a year now and my 8 year old daughter uses it daily. It’s easy to clean (which is great when you have a younger child experimenting with make up) and is sturdy. The light on the mirror has multiple settings which is great when applying make up. I often find myself using this vanity when getting ready as I like the lighting better than my bathroom. The size is perfect for a young girl and teenager. It’s decent for an adult as well, but maybe a little small if you have more skin care and make up that you want to store in the vanity.
