Love this faux leather saddle. It adds a touch of whimsy to my family room. As a horse rider, I know how pricey real leather saddles can be. I do not recommend using it for sitting as it is more of a decor piece. Saddle appears to be a tad larger than a child’s saddle. I love it because it’s not overwhelming and fits perfectly in my home. Place one next to a lounge chair, use it as a sitting stool at an entry, set out a beautiful plant, or display your favorite photos and collectibles. Send a timeless living accessory for a housewarming, birthday, or wedding gift or just because you care. Skilled artisans hand-pick and sand down each slab of wood, preserving the natural shape, wood grain patterns, and color. Each piece of wood undergoes a multi-step process that includes recombination, polishing, painting, waxing, and finishing with a natural lacquer. With an ultra-soft rag, simply dust the surface of the tabletop and legs avoiding vigorous scrubbing as cedar is a softwood and can dent and scratch easily. It is also recommended that a sealer be applied occasionally to retain its color and stability.
