The design is beautiful but the execution is okay. It’s a pretty piece but it just fits together okay. There is a gap on one of the support pieces. This little side table is really nice! It fits perfectly in the angled space between my couch and accent chair. The height is perfect too! Many other side tables I looked at were way too short, but this one is as high as my couch’s armrest! The natural wood top coordinates well with my other furniture, but I may give a coat of shellac to protect it. The assembly was simple just had to screw the three different pieces together. The hardest part was getting the pieces out of the box!! They were secured in cardboard and foam and everything was taped together making it difficult to remove! This a very traditional stand that could be next to a chair or be used for pottery, lamp, plant, etc. This was supper easy to put together and could be done by one person. The parts were very few, and each worked as it should. It is a solid wood table, not particle board. This is a nice size, came very well wrapped (therefore no damage), and is a lovely color.
