For an extra step of security, I ordered this USPS-approved Secure Package/Parcel Delivery Box. First of all, this galvanized steel delivery box comes mostly assembled right out of the box, which is an unforeseen relief. However, it is worth noting that the locking door at the bottom of the delivery box was not attached and I needed an extra person to hold the door while I screwed it in place. I do not recommend attempting to install it by yourself. The mail slot at the top is a nice touch that I wasn't aware was there until it had arrived. Unfortunately, the internal hinges on the package drop door appeared to be bent and one side had completely unscrewed during shipment (circled in red twice on the same photo). Additionally, the locked bottom door arrived partially bent at the bottom (also see photos). However, I was able to bend this back in shape so that the bottom of the door did not stick out for unwanted rain or insects to get in. Lastly, there are plug caps on the bottom if you choose to screw the delivery box into place. Since I am not doing so, I was going to keep the plug caps in but it appears one was missing (circled in red once in photo). I did contact Wayfair about the missing part and hopefully it can be replaced, but I'm waiting to hear back. The parcel locker is a good size. I placed it behind the column in front of my house. The lock, however, is poorly placed. It is 34 of the way down near the bottom. We had to place the locker on 4 upturned cinder blocks to raise it high enough to make out the combination on the lock without practically standing on your head. The lock itself is very hard to read. It really is too small for the size of the unit and the numbers are very tiny and silver just like the dial so they are very hard to see. The combination was easy to change.
