The reclining handle is a bit stiff at first, which is expected for a brand new chair, but it loosens with use. Even a child can comfortably pull the handle to engage the recliner. To reach the fully reclined, nap-friendly position, you will need to lean back and apply pressure with your body rather than relying solely on the handle. The fabric is soft and comfortable to the touch. I also appreciate that the cup holder is removable, along with the fabric attachment that holds it, giving the chair a cleaner look when desired. Another advantage is its size. It does not take up an excessive amount of space and would work well in either a nursery or a living room. However, you should account for additional clearance behind the chair if you plan to use the full recline feature. For sizing reference, I am 5'5", and when seated in the upright position my feet rest comfortably on the floor. I find the chair supportive and easy to get in and out of without feeling too deep or oversized. Finally, the color is true to the product photos, which is always a pleasant surprise when ordering furniture online. Fantastic, exactly what I was searching for. These chairs were easy to assemble, the fabric has a nice soft feel. I was worried because a few reviews said they were shiny and they arent. These chairs would probably be 1000 each in a furniture store, we paid less than that with tax for 2. They are heavy ( I wouldnt want to carry them upstairs - they come in 1 box) and feel like quality. My husband is 62 and 275 lbs . He can lean backrecline and the chair is stable. He likes the chairs as much as I do. The chair backs are a good height from the seat. Allowing you to rest your head to take the pressure off your neck. The chair does fully recline to an almost horizontal mode you just need to pull the chair away from the wall if you have it close to allow space.
