I've had this chaise/sectional going on two years now. For the most part, it has held up pretty well and looks good in my apartment. However, the MAJOR issue I have with the product is it's advertised as being faux leather. But when it arrived, the material was definitely not faux leather--but more like a faux suede. I specifically wanted a leather-like material because suede material is more delicate than leather and requires a lot to keep clean, especially during times of high use. That said, I decided to keep it anyway, because it does look good and I didn't feel like going through the process to send it back. It is easy to clean, though, when there is a spill or dirt gets on it. Spills and dirt do come out completely without leaving a stain. I use a rag and fabric cleaner. But the caveat to consider is I'm rather religious about cleaning it as soon as any spills and whatnot get on it. Plus, I don't have any kids or pets. **Extremely disappointing — nowhere near worth 1,700** I honestly cannot believe this couch costs 1,700. It arrived looking like beat-up university furniture rather than a brand-new, premium couch. The material is extremely strange and looks even worse in person. The entire couch is covered in deep wrinkles and creases that make it look old, worn and poorly made straight out of the box. The two pieces don’t even properly clip together, so they shift apart instead of functioning as one couch. The pillows are basically paper-thin and provide almost no support, and the couch itself is **extremely low to the ground**. Overall, it looks nothing like what I would expect from a couch at this price point. For 1,700, I expected something substantial, comfortable and well-finished. Instead, it looks and feels cheap, flimsy and unfinished. **The price is honestly laughable for the quality you receive.** I would absolutely not recommend this couch and will be returning it.. Have had this sofa for nearly 5 years now, and it's actually very stylish and comfy. We condition it once a month, and it's pretty sturdy. I like that the cushions are velcroed on so they don't slide, but be advised that any underside of a cushion is a sort of felt-type material that hangs onto dirt and dog hair.
