This is a sturdy and versatile bench that came together simply in 20 minutes. The wood is smooth but dry, so I used “Old English” wood oil to condition the bench and it soaked it right up and looks amazing. It fits perfectly in my small bedroom at the foot of my queen bed. What a cute little foot stool for my entry-way!!!! We installed the Wall Cabinet (that we also got from Wayfair during Cyber Monday Deals) a little higher on the wall so that the foot stool fits underneath and is still functional (to put on your shoes) .
