Perfect Mattress for My Daughter! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I purchased this 14-inch mattress for my 8-year-old daughter, and it’s absolutely perfect for her! It has a medium-soft feel and is very comfortable. At first, I thought the mattress might be too high, but after using it, I realized that the height is actually ideal for our needs. My daughter needs assistance getting in and out of bed, so I lift her onto the mattress and help her down. Having a higher mattress makes this much easier and more comfortable for me. However, if your child can get in and out of bed independently, you might prefer a lower mattress. One important tip Be very careful when unboxing this mattress! Make sure to follow all the safety instructions. Once you remove the plastic wrapping, the mattress can expand very suddenly and forcefully. I learned this the hard way because I wasn’t careful enough, and the mattress actually knocked me backward! So please be cautious and keep a safe distance while opening it. I also highly recommend purchasing a waterproof mattress protector right away. It will help keep the mattress clean, protect it from spills and accidents, and extend its lifespan. As for comfort, the medium-soft firmness is perfect for my daughter. Personally, as an adult who is used to sleeping on a firmer mattress, I find it a little too soft for my preference. But for my child, it’s just right! Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Great mattress, comfortable, and definitely worth the money!. Tetiana. Sat Oct 24 2026

Our new Avenco gel memory foam mattress is very good for our 9 year old son’s bed. We ordered a queen to replace his older one, which was way too firm. This new one is just firm enough, but you still sink into the foam a bit. When I lay down on it, I wake up much less sore, because the other one actually hurt my back. Ok, the biggest issue right now is the smell. We are still trying to get that to go away. The directions said to strip the bedding during the day and put a fan in the direction of the bed with a window open. It’s only been four days since we opened it up, so we are crossing our fingers that the smell subsides. Thus, the reason for the 4 stars. For comfort, it definitely deserves 5 stars.. Maureen. Perrysburg, OH. Tue Oct 27 2026
