This fireplace has been such a wonderful addition to my home. I am disabled was able to do the very small amount of “installation” required by myself -one has to screw the legs onto the unit. It adds a lovely ambiance to my living room that everyone comments on enjoys. Be sure you remove the thin packing material beneath the faux logs as directed in the instructions - I see it showing in several reviews finished photos, and it's an easy step to miss. I really like this electric heater. I prefer to use a small unit like this instead of turning on the main house heat. The imitation logs and flame look really nice. The heat comes from the bottom and is blown by a small fan. I’m giving it 4 stars because the digital display on the remote doesn’t work.
