We received this around the 16th but decided (after seeing the 26 page book) to come back and pay a pro. Best decision ever! He was finished in 1 & 1/2 hours! (It had one deep scratch on the top but unless you're on a step stool or very tall, you won't notice), otherwise it's beautiful and the white matches our new bed perfectly! I did add a motion sensor light to each side and will probably add a few more under the shelves. (The strong smell others have mentioned was there ... until we turned our air purifier on (directly in front of the wardrobe) for several hours.) Love it! Third one of these that I have purchased. I found them easy to assemble, and they have a sturdy structure - love that they are solid wood (except for the backing). Have stained all with Minwax wood finish oil-based ‘Colonial Maple’ Semi-transparent interior stain. They look great ! Though the boxes had encountered some bumps and bruises, the contents within each of my shipments remained safe from harm - I would attribute that to the solid packaging. My husband is in the construction business and does a lot of woodworking projects as a hobby. Even so, it took the two of us almost three hours to assemble. Cons You can definitely tell it’s cheap manufactured wood, easily sways from side to side, and the ratan isn’t on super straight, which makes it a bit annoying to look at.
