Very nice all wood (cedar maybe?) stool that looks nice enough for the living room. We just needed a small stool in a couple of spots to have a way to reach up and pull the shades down, so this design fit the need perfectly. There was only one small problem, the top of one of the two units had a noticeable large gouge in the top. We have a shoeless house so this small benchshoe organizer is perfect without being in the way. It would hold 8 pairs of my size 7 shoes or 6 of my BFs size 10.5. Only his flip flops will fit on top (my sneakers and low heels fit fine). High heels or don’t fit here and I doubt men’s size 11 or larger would fit. The cushion is loose and optional. We will likely add an adhesive if we don’t swap out. I addd contact paper inside to help with wear and tear. The storage bench is cute, and fit in my space perfectly. I like the color a lot. Unfortunately it came damaged at the top corner, which of course is showing in an obvious place, couldn't be in a place that isn't showing, right? Wayfair offered a discount, but that doesn't fix it. The pad on top is fine, the material of the cover is very thin and flimsy, kind of like a very light linen. Can easily change it if I can find the right size.
