The trellis arrived yesterday and the box was damaged. So my husband and I opened it carefully and just the three legs ( the part that goes into the ground were bent. I have not had a chance to call Wayfair yet, or even see if it will go in the ground and stand straight. I sure hope it does, because otherwise it looks very nice and appears well made. My husband and I were both surprised about the bent legs because the material it is made of seems hefty! Keep your fingers crossed it goes in the ground and stands straight because otherwise I love it! It went in the garden and looks great! The house is made from bronze and has a red painted finish that’s been purposefully distressed for a weathered look. The pagoda-style roof is unfinished metal with an aged patina that adds to the vintage appearance. We love the bronze-colored detail over the door, the perch, and the elongated decorative finial on the top that adds height and visual interest. It is definitely darker than the photos show, more of a very dark gray. I assume it will fade some to a lighter gray, similar to what is show. FYI - you will need to pre-purchase a 4x10, to cut in half. These will be used to place in holes dug roughly 36 inches deep and set in concrete. Hopefully that saves someone else a trip. Otherwise a good buy.. Andrew. Bedford, TX. Wed Aug 05 2026
