Sloth Sculpture

From its very beginnings, Edge Sculpture has been a collection of contemporary statement pieces for the home. Creating a bold and visually striking aesthetic was artist Matt Buckley's primary design goal when sculpting the range. With that intention, many of the pieces are purposely large in scale. However, always one to experiment, Matt began to consider how to present his work on a smaller scale. Not to simply sculpt smaller pieces, but instead, how to turn what was once a large piece into a flawless, miniaturized version of the original. Thanks to Matt's unwavering dedication and advances in modern technology, his vision has come to fruition.

This playful sloth lamp brings a dose of fun to your space. Made from resin in a matte black finish with subtle bronze undertones, the sculpted surface highlights the sloth’s fur texture with rich dimension. The sloth appears to be hanging mid-swing, adding charm and character to any room. A simple natural linen drum shade with a hardback liner casts a soft glow, topped by a specialty finial shaped like the sloth’s hand. Includes an On/Off rotary socket and fits a 100W bulb (not included)

This picture has such vibrancy and color to it! I just love how detailed it is, even though it is not a true water color and is only a print. I wish it were in a frame, and I truly wish they has placed something over the back, with a picture framing hanger. I will paper the back myself and add a wall hook, just to make it look more professional. Over all a very pretty picture.. Melinda. Venice, FL. Mon Jul 22 2024
