Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. I have a large awkward loveseat, I didnt love the fabric and I liked the option of the slipcover. The slipcover itself is made out of good material and it feels really nice but there is some sagging and loose parts that I find frustrating. Unlike the couch, it did not come with straps to help secure it into place. So I ended up using tack on the underside.
